Tiny Tot Program
Ages 3-5
Students are introduced to basic ballet and tap vocabulary, while exploring movement and music in a fun, creative way. These classes focus on rhythm and coordination; mixing in lots of creative ideas to keep the children interested and having fun.
Our instructors use imagination games, upbeat age-appropriate music and props like scarves, hula hoops, crowns and bean bags to inspire and excite students about dance.
Students will also work on classroom skills such as following directions, listening and waiting their turn. This class is a positive and fun first dance experience for all!
Classes:
BALLET: Class for ages 3-5 (30 minute class)
A fun and engaging, play based introduction to ballet and creative movement for children ages 3-5. Dancers are introduced to the foot and arm movements of ballet and the French terminology.
BALLET/TAP COMBO: Class for ages 3-5 (45 minute class)
Tap class introduces the basic tap steps. Tiny Tots Tap is only offered as a combo class with Ballet at this age. Part way through class, ballet slippers are quickly changed to tap shoes.
Sessions:
Fall Session: August 14, 2023 to December 10, 2023
Spring Session: January 16, 2024 to May 18, 2024
Tuition:
Registration Fee (non-refundable): $25 per dancer or $45 per household.
Tuition Fee:
- Ballet/Tap Combo Class is $180 per session.
- Ballet Class: is $155 per session.
IN THE SPRING SESSION ONLY: Recital Fee: $125 per class & includes:
- The recital costume,
- Matching tights,
- Commemorative t-shirt with your child's name on it,
- Professional video link of the entire show.
Fall session students:
Recital fee deposit of $50 per class is due in November. The balance of $75 per class in due in January.
Spring session students:
Recital fee of $125 per class is due upon enrollment. The recital fee of $125 per class is non-refundable.

The Required Uniform:
Once that you have decided to dance with us, it is time to prepare your child for success in the classroom by purchasing appropriate dancewear.
Skaters need skates, swimmers need swimsuits, music lessons need an instrument, dancers need dancewear.
Dancewear is an integral part of every dancer’s life.While parents may wish to buy dancewear that allows some growing room and lesser quality materials for a more cost-effective purchase, this is not advisable. Dance clothing is intended to be ‘fitted’, and have a three-way stretch as part of the functions.
There is a safety aspect, too. For example, if leotards are too big and baggy, the teacher cannot see any postural problems. If dance shoes are from Walmart or Payless, they are made of plastic and do not stretch with your child's foot. Slippers that are too large create and unsupported foot and not to mention, a trip hazard!
Finally, studio uniforms are a way of adjustment and discipline, as well as representing the studio culture. Everyone wearing the same clothing prepares students for a structured environment of formal behaviour.
