Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the questions people most frequently ask us:

Question #1 -WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TINY TOT GETS STAGE FRIGHT?

The vast majority of our Tiny Tots do not get stage fright, partly because we work hard to prepare them well so they know what to expect. If your Tiny Tot gets too scared to go on stage and begins to cry, one of their teachers will hold them and comfort them backstage. Please don't panic. If your child's class comes out on stage and your dancer is not there, we guarantee they are in the loving arms of either Ms. Anne or one of our other dance teachers.

Question #2 - WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TINY TOT GOES ON STAGE AND WON'T DANCE?

The way we do the Tiny Tot performances is to have their teacher go on stage with them. She performs the dance with them. If your tiny tot doesn't do the dance, please do not despair. No matter what Tiny Tots do, they steal the show every time! When she or he is the star of her or his recital 8 years from now, you both will look back at the Tiny Tot dance and laugh!

Question #3 - MAY WE LEAVE RECITAL WHEN OUR TINY TOT IS DONE WITH HER PERFORMANCE?

Everyone will remain for the whole show. Your dancer will not be allowed to be signed out and leave the venue during the show.  The dancers are kept entertained backstage after they perform. You will see them again on stage for the curtain call at the end of the show. All dancers then go back to the backstage area and must be signed out after the show is over.

Question #4 - WHO WILL BE TAKING CARE OF MY TINY TOT BACKSTAGE?

Our Tiny Tots are cared for by Gotta Dance staff. They will be entertained backstage and they love being in the midst of the "big" dancers and getting to see all the costumes on everyone. Even if your Tiny Tot leaves your arms in tears at sign in, we promise that she/he  will be comforted and cheered up quickly and will have great fun backstage!
